Arrive ready to modernize.

Complete these checks before September 19 so the group can spend the workshop building rather than installing tools.

What you need

  • Google Antigravity installed and able to open a local project.
  • Node.js 18 or newer.
  • Git and Google Chrome.
  • A Discord desktop or browser client that can join voice and view screen sharing.

Prepare the demonstration project

  1. Open the official modernization demonstration project.
  2. Follow its setup instructions and open the project in Antigravity.
  3. Confirm the agent instructions and legacy application directories are visible.
  4. Run the project’s documented verification command.

Final checks

  • Open Antigravity, Chrome, and Discord at the same time.
  • Confirm your microphone and headphones work.
  • Join the Discord server using the access sent after registration.
  • Post setup questions in #setup-help before event day.

Live troubleshooting is limited to three minutes per issue. If your local run falls behind, the facilitator will help you move to a prepared checkpoint.
